Small Events/Engagement Parties/Weddings/Elopements

If you're looking for a friendly, fun loving photographer who pledges to keep your individuality at the forefront of her mind for your small event or wedding, get in touch.  I offer anything from pre wedding/engagement shoots to half or full day wedding packages (see below) with optional add ons.  I'm LGBTQIA+ friendly and welcome clients of any religious persuasion.

Please take a look at my portfolio and see for yourself:-

Gig Photography and Behind the Scenes/Stills Photography

As a music lover, if I can't go to gigs as a punter, I'm just as happy capturing the atmosphere and energy of a performance.  I charge by the hour, so check out my gallery here              and if you need any press shots/promo photos, let's talk!

The West Midlands is fast becoming a creative hub for those working in the TV, Music or Film industry.  My proximity to Birmingham makes me a good and affordable choice for local creatives.

Mini Outdoor Photo Shoots/Portraits (People or pets!)

For as long as I can remember, I've always loved people watching, attending weddings and dressing up.  So now I get to do all three!

I understand what it's like to be camera shy but also love to celebrate people at their best by helping them relax and enjoy being the centre of attention.  That's why I offer mini outdoor photoshoots or indoor portrait sessions to help people learn to love being in front of the lens; my goal being to work with them to produce some beautiful photos showcasing them at their best!

Mini outdoor photo shoots and indoor portrait sessions are available all year round and I will consult with you to discuss your ideas and hopes for the shoot, whether it be to update the family album, give an alternative gift to a loved one, fly solo with an empowering photo shoot or dress up as your favourite movie character!

A Little About Me

I love animals and have faithfully served cats and dogs in my time.

Fast fashion isn't my thing.  I have long been a slow fashion devotee.  My home and personal style can best be described as "eclectic."  I prefer vintage and preloved items that come with a little history and enjoy the challenge of putting together outfits that not everyone will be wearing.

I'm also passionate about nature and am lucky enough to live in an area with beautifully diverse scenery here in the West Midlands, so my exercise regime is taking long walks and discovering new places - always carrying my camera.

I like historic, characterful buildings and young at heart people.  Music gigs, films, gritty crime novels, art and writing (I blog and dabble in poetry) also consume my time.

I've worked as a Filming Assistant at the Black Country Living Museum and undertook stints on the Sky production, The Colour Room and Season 6 of the BBC drama Peaky Blinders.

I love to laugh.  It really is the best form of medicine.  I'm attracted to dark, surreal, leftfield comedy and have visited the Edinburgh Fringe Festival numerous times in the past.

What else can I tell you?

I'm a wife, daughter, mother.  I'm 38% English, 31% Irish, Scottish & Welsh and 31% Scandi.  Bet you didn't expect that level of detail!

Halloween is my favourite time of year.  I'm into folklore and the paranormal, having had my own unexplained experience early in life.

Sean of the Dead and Withnail & I are amongst my favourite films.  I also have a bit of a love affair with 70s Hollywood.

I have an irrational fear of balloons.

I love chocolate; I'm particularly partial to Bendicks mints.

I feel at my most relaxed by water, preferably the coast, but a river, lake or canal will suffice.

I'm probably happiest when amongst a crowd of people at a music gig.  My music taste is pretty eclectic too, ranging from Fleetwood Mac to Fontaines DC!  I gravitate towards creatives, poetic souls and dark humour.

Affiliations and Publications

I was shortlisted in the National Trust Photography Competition 2019; one of my landscape photographs was selected to feature in the 2019 National Trust Handbook.  A number of my photos are displayed locally.  I've contributed behind the scenes photography for a short film production.  I've been featured in industry blogs, including the Boho Brides Guide Directory and Unconventional Wedding and my work has been also made it into print in Rebel Romance magazine and Your West Midlands magazine (link here) https://tinyurl.com/ms542x57
