Hi, I'm Claire, a West Midlands based photographer and the woman behind the lens. I'm a wife, mother and have lived a life, which informs everything I create as a photographer. I cover those big life moments, from engagement shoots to the day you tie the knot; in fact any occasion before, in between and beyond. I've photographed all kinds of weddings, from clifftop vows, timeless and traditional church ceremonies to ancient woodland hand-fasting ceremonies. PROPOSALS/ENGAGEMENT/COUPLES PHOTO SHOOTS
Photo shoots don't just belong to the betrothed. If you would like some beautiful portraits celebrating you as an individual, to create a visual record of an important friendship/burgeoning love affair or to gift a relative, then a portrait session in nature is a wonderfully empowering way to boost self esteem and make treasured memories.
Outdoor photo shoots are empowering and help people get used to being in front of the camera and enjoy being the centre of attention.
WEDDINGS & ELOPEMENTS
I take a photo journalistic approach to wedding photography, often referred to as documentary style photography, using natural light where possible. This means no awkward posing and endless outfit adjustments, just gentle direction and natural results. Take a look at my portfolio.

The great outdoors has a way of calming nerves and always provides a beautiful backdrop to family portraits; a lovely way to update the family photo album.
Ten Facts About Me
1. I was born in the depths of winter and am 38% English, 31% Irish, Scottish & Welsh and 31% Scandi.
2. I love animals and have faithfully served cats and dogs in my time.
3. Fast fashion isn't my thing. I have long been a slow fashion devotee. My home and personal style can best be described as "eclectic." I love vintage and preloved items that come with a little history and enjoy the challenge of putting together outfits that not everyone will be wearing.
4. I'm passionate about nature and am lucky enough to live in an area with beautifully diverse scenery here in the West Midlands, so my exercise regime is taking long walks and discovering new places - always carrying my camera. I feel very zen in the shade of woodland or by water.
5. I'm probably happiest when amongst a crowd of people at a music gig. My music taste is pretty diverse, spanning genres and decades. Current favourites include Wolf Alice and Fontaines DC!
6. I've worked as a Filming Assistant at the Black Country Living Museum and undertook stints on the Sky film production of The Colour Room and Season 6 of the BBC drama Peaky Blinders.
7. I'm attracted to dark, surreal, leftfield comedy and have visited the Edinburgh Fringe Festival numerous times in the past.
8. Halloween is my favourite time of year. I'm fascinated by historic buildings, graveyards claimed by ivy, folklore and the paranormal, having had my own unexplained experience early in life.
9. I have an irrational fear of balloons!
10. I gravitate towards free spirited creative people with poetic souls and dark humour.
